Health and Fitness

If the body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit, it stands to reason that we ought to keep it in tip-top shape. The original temple was not built with twinkies and sugar beverages, but rather with the purest gold and hardest wood!

Those putting their trust into government for their health will find themselves sick. Government has the power only to inflict harm, but has not the power to heal. Governments believe in "population control". Health Care Politics is an expression of this - vaccinations, abortion, pharmaceutical drugs, food manipulation and denial of medical services. If a body of health is our goal, we have to go to basics for the clue instead of to the voting both.

Cellular Health

The body is comprised of cells. The health of the body is determined by the health of the cells. Healthy cells equate to a healthy body. It is impossible to have a healthy body with sick cells. The cells can be likened unto a factory having three interfaces: one in and two out. The raw materials are brought in, while the waste and final product are shipped out. The final product may be the input for a different cell. Ultimately, the end products become either body structure or energy, whereas the raw materials are derived from consumed food.

For the vast majority of cells, the lymph system is responsible for the transport of raw materials and waste. The cell production plant is efficient to the extent that the waste is removed and the raw materials are made available in the correct timing and ratios. If the raw materials are of the wrong ratio or of the incorrect composition, the cell stops functioning at optimum levels. Likewise, when the waste is not effectively and swiftly transported away from the cell, the environment becomes such that the cell can no longer fabricate its produce correctly.

Minor situations result in minor sickness, whereas major situations result in major disfunction and therefore serious sickness, even death.

The lymph system is connected to the circulatory system. The lymph system can only carry raw materials it obtains from the blood, and carry away waste into the blood. Thus, the lymph system is wholy dependent on the circulatory system. It is the beginning and the end. If the blood does not have the correct raw materials, or cannot dispose of the waste, the lymph system cannot function properly. In turn, the functioning of the blood is established by efficiently working disposal organs (kidneys, liver, colon, etc.). Acceptable raw materials are found in the blood only when appropriate nourishment is provided in the form of air, water and food.

It turns out that in the end, the disposal systems are dependent upon nourishment content and amount. So our nourishment is the key to vibrant health, not pandering politicians and government agents working to ensure we collect social security funds for a short a time as possible. All the ill-named government aid will not override the laws of biochemistry. As a matter of fact, government is betting on it. Government's job is to harm and kill - indeed, this is all it can do. The question is, whom will government harm and kill? Calling the policy "Health Care" makes the deception complete.

Nourishment for Humans

The human body is primed for eating fruit. The ape has an almost identical digestive system compared to the human. They eat only fruit if it is available. They don't have cancer, heart issues or diabetes - neither do humans who eat nourishing food. Yes, disease is absolutely genetic. Genes are programmed by their Creator to work with nourishing food, not laboratory products, toxins, pesticides, genetically modified stuff, pharaceutical grade chemicals or deadly venom found so abundantly in vaccines.

Vegable flesh comes in a close second as far as assimilation goes. Then nuts and grains. Although a point of contention, this writter adheres to the thought that animal products in small amounts is beneficial.

It must be noted that it appears there is no single perfect diet suitable for every person. The above is a general guideline. Everyone has to discover what works best for them. Also, age and pregnancy considerations will greatly affect what kind of diet is optimal.

Choose Alternatives based upon desired Consequences

We can choose between alternatives, but we cannot choose the consequences of our actions. Consequences lie in the domain of God, not man. Either we align ourselves with choices that result in health, or we do not. How much more should the created obey the biological and chemical laws written by his Creator. It behooves us to discover what the laws are, and trust in them. Government edicts will not change what God has deemed good, regardless of thinly veiled selfish intentions.

Here are a few tips on health eating.

The body uses energy for five reasons in this priority:

  1. digestion,
  2. physical locomotion,
  3. mental capacities,
  4. expelling of refuse and poisons
  5. self-healing reconstruction

In order to divert energy to the expelling of waste and self-maintenance, one has to cut down on physical activity and digestion, for those have priority. For a trick one can implement on this last digestion point, we note that digestion turns all food into juices prior to assimilation. If a person mechanically turns food into juice prior to consumption, he has saved his body a tremendous amount of work. A good blender has 1,300 watts. It takes about 20 seconds to turn fruit into juice. That makes 26,000 joules. The stomach takes about 30 minutes to pass fruit. This equates to 14.4 watts. This is a lot of energy for a human. It is equivalent to moving 60kg against the acceleration due to gravity at 0.87 km/hr.

We understand that all the cells in the body are switched out every 7 years. Some parts of the the body are recycled faster than others. Physically speaking, one is a new person every 7 years. Cutting down on digestive activity greatly accelerates this process of renewal.

The Body is Desparate for Rest

Giving the body a rest allows it to rid itself of sickness causing material. During this process the body tears down the old and rickety structure in order to replace it with the new and rejuvenated. One effectively becomes younger in the truest sense. Exterior signs are clearer skin and eyes, reduction of wrinkles, better perception (sight, sound, taste, smell, touch), thicker hair, color deepening of hair, stronger nails, less requirement for sleep, etc. Internal signs are more energy, clearer thinking, more alertness, more efficiency and power in the organs, tighter collagen, strengthened immune system, cleaned out arteries. This is the result.

The chemical process is similar to the transformation of the caterpillar into a butterfly. The caterpillar, through enzymic action, turns itself into a "mass of slime", which is then rebuilt into the structures required to form the butterfly. This process is amazing once one considers what happens. This is proof of the wisdom of the intelligence and project management skills of God in action. The human body was given this same power, although to a lesser degree. Use this built-in maintenance and calibration tool for your profit. And thereby keep the pharmaceutical companies, and their accomplices, government officials in bribed places, out of your wallet.

But like in all things, it must get worse before it gets better. Poisons in the various forms are stored in fat cells where they can do minimal harm. When those are full, the body makes more fats cells for inventory control, and organ cells are used as well (not good). While stored, they do the "least amount of" damage (be aware that "least amount of" should not be confused with "no"), and one does not notice the netagive effect. In the fat cells, their ability to chemically react in the body is diminished, not illiminated. The unloading of stored poisons releases them such that they can chemically react. One does feel them in full measure. The body's immune system captures these and throws them out. Ill-informed people make the mistake of believing the juices or straight fasting caused the feeling of "sickness". All forms of pain, discomfort and weakness is felt: muscleache, back pain, joint pain, nausea, headache, diarrhea, acne, extreme bad breath, extreme body oder, etc. However, believing that fasting causes sickness could not be further from the truth. The juicing is allowing the body to release sickness that is already present. Tough it out. It will pass. The strength and duration of ill effects is directly related to the amount of poisons stored. One cannot release everything in one run. Otherwise the body would probably die. Typically a cleansing must occur many times until it is relatively clean. Maintenance is important, as living on planet earth exposes us to unhealthy substances.

Beyond juicing, fasting cuts digestion effort to zero. At this point, the body searches out diseased cells for disassembly and reassembly elsewhere. Non-essential material is sought out first, such as fat, prior to cannibalizing muscle or organs. Even then, the least important muscles and organs are cannibalized first. One has to fast 4 weeks or so before the muscle and organs begin to be dismembered.

Tactics

Every machine requires a proper preventative maintenance plan to minimize the risk of failure. The body, because it is a machine, also needs to be cleaned out and greased down periodically. The alternative is assured sickness.

One can mix and match the different dietary regimes depending on where your body is. Going from a standard western diet directly to a water fast is impossible. One will have to work up to it. The important point is not to try to win the local marathon the day after you decide to run it. Marathons require intense training over a period of many months. Anything else is planned disaster. Detoxification and rebuilding of cells must be approached in the same way. The body can do amazing things, but only if we discipline it over time, challenging it with ever increasing levels of difficulty. In order of arduousness, diets can be a scheduled block of time of:

  1. Raw & Dehydrated Food (only eat foods that are not cooked, heated, extracted or otherwise processed by man)
  2. Blender Food (only drink & eat what comes out of the blender)
  3. Juice Extractor Food (only drink what comes out of the extractor)
  4. Water Only (only drink water)

One should descend into and ascend out of a fasting time starting at level 1, moving downward to the level you can manage, and then back up through all the steps. One can also mix steps concurrently. Perhaps you can do the blender only regime, but not the juice only regime. You could in this case do blender and juice at the same time. At some point, you will be able to put the blender aside. Every new adventure will become easier as the body learns what it forgot, that is how to clean house and repair the cracks in the wall. The deeper and longer one extends the dieting time, the deeper the cleansing and healing. Start where you can start, and move deeper and go longer. Depending on family and work needs, you can tailor the regimen in depth, length, and repetition. If one proceeds one step at a time, one can transverse a continent.

Do not choose from Alternatives based on false Hunger

What most people associate with hunger is not true hunger. Our society has lost touch with the true fellings of hunger due to improper feeding. It is necessary to realize that cravings, habits, addictions (physical and mental), stomach complaining, the shakes, headaches and the like are not "hunger". Understanding this is crucial for making the breakthrough in conquering the munchies due to false hunger, bordom, neverousness, procastination tactics, taste preferences, etc. The cleaner the body becomes, the better it is able to communicate what type of food it needs, and how much. Practice, determination and discipline is required to separate the fake from the real. "Health Care" politics cannot help - it is the epitome of fake.

Remember, hunger is not due to the position of the small and big hands on the clock.

True hunger is cell driven. What raw materials does the cell demand? This is a far cry from complaining on the part of the stomach, or psychologically driven habits. Nourishment is for the provision of raw ingredients to the cells. Eating is, often, the fixing the empty tummy syndrom, coating our tongue with sugar, perhaps a tactic of procrastination, a false fear of starvation, or looking for happiness not found elsewhere. There is a difference between feeding our cells nutrition and "filling up". We are in need of a change in mindset as to what it means to be hungry. As long as we are driven by the demands of the tongue, tummy, illogical fears and habits, we will have no prospect of becoming healthy.

Eating healthy is inconvenient. One has to be choosy, and cannot be directed by cravings, infommercials and peer pressure. You will be treated like a cross between a nut-case and a terrorist. Mark my words if you don't believe me. But the inconvenience involved is much less than that caused by heart disease or cancer.

Every decision has a good part and a bad part. One must determine for himself whether being healthy is worth the discipline and mockery. If one chooses the broad road, and wide gate, he has decided he'd rather be unhealthy than disciplined. The reality is as simple as that. Laziness has its effect on every area of life where we allow it to be our guiding light. It is criminal, however, when the lazy vote for national policies to pull money I set aside for my family - out of my pocket - to pay for the consequences of the recipient's lack of discipline. What we need is true reform, the reform mentality to take charge and responsibility for our own actions.

The question is, whether what we eat is moving us toward our health goals or not. With every bite, we are acting on our decision. This is where the rubber meets the road. Going back to the marathon analogy, we note that solid health is not obtained in a month. Many achieve a steady progression in health over a time span of six months to two years depending on where one starts and how disciplined one is. Assuming two years at three meals a day, this means there are 2,190 decisions to make between where you are now and where you want to be. Every "cheating" delays the schedule. Are we ready to make 2,190 positive decisions in a row? Not that the author has reached that point!

The driving factor must be then to realize that the joy of eating junk is for a fleeting second, but the results are for a life time. Conversely, eating healthy is certainly less stimulating, but the rewards of being able to move without hindrance at great endurance has its benefits. One's productive life span is increased (more money), one has less costs due to illness (more money), pain is relieved and the golden years are certainly more enjoyable.

Your state of health is a reflection of your choices, not political policy.

Additional Sources of Information

The above is a quick introduction to gaining health. The only path to health is self-responsibility. Only you can determine what you put in your body - at least until the FDA makes healthy food illegal (to a certain degree, the FDA has already accomplished this). Hopefully this text has caught the reader's attention. Health is very imporant. So important in fact that we should not place it in the hands of compromised politicians, regardless of their showmanship skills and bogus claims of "moral rights", "I feel your pain" and fake tears. In the links below, you will find testimonies of the terminally ill recovering, where the best of medical science left patients for dead. Blind eyes seeing, deaf ears hearing, lame regaining strength and other "miracles" are there for the reading. The body is desperate for rest, rest so that it can repair itself. A cut in the skin can be healed by the body when left alone where the brightest doctors armed with the most advanced toys cannot repair one single cell. The body will wash away many sicknesses when given a chance at rest.

Foreword from second Publication

by Dr Archie Kalokerinos, Bingara, N.S.W.

(Dr Kalokerinos, now in general practice, was for many years health advisor to the National Aboriginal Consultative Committee in Canberra and previous to that was Medical Superintendent, Collarenebri District Hospital. He is best known for his work in preventing infant mortality and is author of the book Every Second Child [1974, Thomas Nelson].)

To be healthy and to live a long time is the aim of nearly every person. Unfortunately few achieve it and the reasons why need careful consideration. Obviously, many factors are involved in the maintenance of good health.

We could begin by listing genetic factors, physical fitness, the environment, psychology, diet and lifestyle. Deliberately I have omitted physicians, medications and hospitals because it is becoming painfully obvious to practitioners that their impact is remarkably small and has practically no beneficial effect on community health. Yet, in our modern society, the vast bulk of effort and expenditure goes towards physicians, hospitals and medications. As technology increases, demand for services increases and it is probable that, unless a brake is applied, our society could spend half its national income in a futile effort to buy health. Health cannot be bought.

Human nature is such that the average individual is loath to work for good health. He wants a magical prescription, an operation, an all-powerful physician or some electronic marvel that will provide answers for everything. For example, most people would prefer that lung cancer had no connection with smoking and could be easily controlled by "medical science" with "miracle" drugs. A doctor who advocates sensible preventive measures usually loses such patients to another doctor with a ready prescription pad.

Physical fitness, attention to the environment, relaxed psychology, correct diet and lifestyles are the key factors to good health. A few individuals may be genetically strong enough to ignore most of these and still remain healthy for a long time, but the average person must obey the rules--or suffer. To become a functionless mass of distorted body parts is not an accident, it results from a bad lifestyle unknowingly, or perhaps knowingly, followed habitually for years.

Diet correction is where we need to begin in the search for longevity. Over the years fads have emerged. Most have good points; most are illogical in that they consider factors out of perspective. For optimum physical fitness we must go back to how "nature intended" us to eat--like our forefathers who foraged and hunted in the forests. Their diets consisted mainly of wild fruit and various plants eaten raw, with very little consumption of fat or animal protein. In other words, the diet for good health is not "high protein" but high natural carbohydrate. To replace natural carbohydrates with refined forms (such as white flour and sugar) is, of course, a disaster no matter how careful one may be in the selection of other foods. South Sea Islanders who consume great amounts of fresh fruits and vegetables and also masses of white flour and sugar demonstrate this point clearly. They suffer from degenerative diseases such as diabetes at alarming rates and their life expectancy is poor. To live almost exclusively on refined carbohydrates is a double disaster. Processed foods, artificial preservatives, sweeteners, colorings and flavorings add to the horror of bad health. One may partially correct the problem by adding certain vitamins and minerals, but full correction is not possible.

Physical fitness is the next factor that needs consideration. Oxygen, nutritional foods and waste products cannot get into and out of cells when the circulation is sluggish. In the physically unfit, major blood vessels block, the microcirculation in the capillaries becomes sluggish and the result is impaired cellular metabolism, the cause of degenerative diseases which include cancer.

Fortunately, and this is a major message in this book, these changes are often reversible. Thus a person who has, for example, established heart disease, can, by correcting diet and becoming physically active, improve the circulation and "cure" the heart disease. Surely this is a better way of handling the problem than open heart surgery or coronary by-pass operations that may relieve the pain. This represents, in my own lifetime, a complete reversal of principles. In my early years, patients were forced into bed and even had their teeth washed for them. How many were killed by such "kindness" is best not thought about. One knows that if tissues are to remain healthy, or regain health, a degree of activity to stimulate the circulation is necessary.

Although minor details may change over the years as more knowledge filters through, there is only one sure road to good health. Reading this book will illuminate that road. To argue against it will get one nowhere because, for the average individual, there is no alternative.

Introduction

It has become apparent that "health insurance schemes" costing billions of dollars do not achieve much more than maintaining a lot of people too sick to work. These schemes are not health schemes at all--they are "sickness schemes", the main effect of which is to boost the ever-growing medical and drug industry.

The health of people in NSW is not improving despite the huge increase in health services funds, the chairman of the Health Commission of NSW, Dr R. McEwin, said yesterday. Sydney Morning Herald.
